Succeeded in captivating 10kbyte of data into Color C Code, which is formed by: 8 colors, cell size 0.15mm, and code size 3cm around. (The data capacity is the capacity of compressed data, therefore, literally more than 10kbyte of data can be stored)
The high-end color management of Colour Code Technologies succeeded in the development of high capacity color code, Color C Code.
"Color C Code" converts digital data such as text, image, music, and animation into color and a code is generated. In order to decode, any existing importing devices such as scanners, web cameras, digital cameras, and mobile phones (Windows Mobile) can be used. The data capacity will differ according to each code size and cell size, however, in its present state, a code acquires approximately 20kbyte of data and a maximum of 8 codes can be read concurrently. Our next target is to improve the precision of data capacity and decoding accuracy by attaching a "guide strip" to the code.
Compared to other existing codes, "Color C Code" has a significantly higher data capacity. Therefore, the original data can be retrieved directly from the code without any network connection.
Various usage can be sought for Color C Code. It can be applied to various markets as well. By printing the code image on paper and stickers, a rapid reduction of printing cost can be achieved. The code is also fit for storing data, securing documents, preventing forgery, and managing products. A more advanced and simplified method in promotion and entertainment can also be sought by embedding codes with images and audio, for example.
In its present state, the code can acquire 20 seconds of music. We are now plannning to commercialize products such as "voice message embedded postcards," "application for mobile phones (games)," "tickets," "audio samples," and more.

Colour Code Technologies is a member of E3PA, and has been recommending more ecological ways of printing since its inception. Color C Code is an integral part of this.
The general usage of Color C Code is in printing out the code image. The precondition for printing codes is to check whether the output color is calibrated and whether the color change is not applied when reproduced. In order to realize "color accuracy and contribution to ecology," color management is necessary. The code cannot be merely printed out, since discoloration of code may occur according to printing machines.
